What WOMi is and how to set up your account.
WOMi is a word-of-mouth rewards platform. Local service businesses post deals; you redeem them in-person, earn cashback or store credit, and share the deals you love so friends can try them too — when a friend redeems through your link, they get the deal and you earn a referral bonus.
Think of it as a referral program for every local business in your area, paid out to you instead of marketing agencies.
Tap Sign Up and continue with email or Google. You'll set your name and password, and can add a profile photo. No phone number or payment method required up front.
WOMi is live wherever local businesses are signed up. Browse Explore to see what's active near you — if your area is empty, scroll to the bottom of this page and tell us which business you want, and we'll reach out to them.
Claiming deals, redeeming in-store, and what the rewards are.
Tap a deal on Explore and hit Claim. It moves into your Claimed Deals tab and is ready to redeem at the business. The business sets each deal's window — deals can run up to 90 days (some have no end date), and the deal card always shows the expiry.
Open your claimed deal — under Show at counter it displays a QR code and a short backup code. The business scans the QR (or types the code) to confirm your visit, and your reward appears in your wallet right after.
Can't scan in person? Some deals let you redeem remotely: submit a photo of your receipt as proof, and the reward lands once the business approves it.
Each deal pays out in one of two forms:
Turn your screen brightness up, hold the phone or laptop flat, and give their camera a second to focus. If it still won't scan, the business can enter the short backup code shown right under the QR.

Once a redemption is confirmed, it's final — the reward is yours. For remote redemptions, the business reviews your proof of purchase beforeapproving, so it's checked up front rather than undone later. If something looks off on either side, reach out with the form below and we'll help sort it out.
Balances, payouts, and store credit.
Go to your Wallet and tap Withdraw. First-time withdrawals take a minute to set up a Stripe payout account — we use Stripe so your bank details never touch WOMi's servers.
Minimum: $10. Standard payout: 1–3 business days, no fee. Instant payout: usually under 30 minutes, with a 1% fee taken out of that payout. Payouts can only go out once your Stripe details are complete.
Cash is withdrawable to your bank. Store credit lives in the business that issued it and is redeemed at their counter, the same way you'd use a gift card.
A pendingreward hasn't been finalized yet — most often a remote redemption that's still waiting on the business to confirm it. As soon as it's confirmed, the amount moves to your Availablebalance. You don't need to do anything.
Standard ACH transfers can take up to 3 business days. If it has been longer, send us a message using the form at the bottom of this page with your withdrawal date and we'll trace it with Stripe.
WOMi rewards are cashback and store credit. Cashback is generally treated as a rebate rather than taxable income, so most members won't receive a tax form for it. You're responsible for any taxes that apply to you — if you're unsure, check with a tax professional. If your situation ever requires reporting, we'll be in touch with what's needed.
How shared deals and referral bonuses work.
The moment you claim a deal you get a unique share link. When a friend claims and redeems through it, you earn a referral bonus and your friend gets the deal's own reward — both paid by the business out of that deal's budget.
Your referral bonus is shown on the deal card before you share. Anyone can use your link — just note bonuses come from the deal's budget, so they're paid while that budget lasts.
On any deal you've claimed, tap Share. Your unique link is ready right away — copy it or use your device's share sheet to send it anywhere (text, social, email). You'll also find it again on your Claimed Deals.
Until the underlying deal expires. The business sets the deal duration; once it ends, the link still opens but the deal can't be claimed.
Yes — each new deal earns you a separate referral bonus when your friend redeems it. A given deal can only be redeemed once per friend, though.
Referral bonuses are usually applied within minutes of the redemption confirming. If it's been over an hour, send us a message with both your name and your friend's and we'll check the share token.
Profile settings, notifications, and your data.
Open Settings to update your name. To change your password, log out and tap Forgot passwordon the login screen — you'll get a secure reset link by email. To change your email address, message us with the form below so we can verify it against your account.
Settings → Notifications. There's a master Allow notificationstoggle plus per-category switches: New deals near you, Redemption updates, Rewards earned, Referral activity, and Messages. Your choices sync across every device you're signed in on.
Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete account. You confirm by typing "DELETE", which sends a deletion request to our privacy team. There's a 30-day grace period in case you change your mind; after that we permanently remove your profile, balances, saved deals, and loyalty memberships. Some transactional records may be kept anonymized for legal and accounting reasons — see our Privacy Policy for specifics.
Yes — Settings → Privacy & Data → Download my data sends us a request, and we'll email you a copy of your profile, transactions, and saved deals (CCPA / GDPR-compliant). Requests are handled within 30 days, usually much sooner.
No. We don't sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
