Account Data Deletion for Womi Platform

At Womi, we respect your privacy and provide you with full control over your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data from our platform, please follow the instructions below.

How to Request Data Deletion

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Open your Womi app

  2. Navigate to SettingsAccount Settings

  3. Select "Delete Account"

  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your deletion request

  5. Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

Method 2: Email Request

If you're unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion via email:

  1. Send an email to support@womiapp.com

  2. Use "Data Deletion Request" as the subject line

  3. Include the following information in your email:

    • Your full name

    • The email address associated with your Womi account

    • Specify whether you have a User account, Business account, or both

    • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

User Accounts:

  • Profile information (name, username, bio, avatar, contact details)

  • Account credentials and authentication data

  • Referral history and earned rewards

  • Message conversations and chat history

  • App preferences and settings

  • Device tokens and notification preferences

Business Accounts:

  • Business profile information (name, description, contact details, images)

  • Promotion and campaign data

  • Customer interaction history

  • Analytics and performance data

  • Verification documents and business licenses

  • Payment and transaction records

  • Business policies and terms

Processing Timeline

  • Immediate: Your account will be deactivated and inaccessible

  • Within 30 days: All personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers

  • Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation when deletion is complete

Data Retention Exceptions

Please note that some data may be retained for legal or operational requirements:

  • Transaction records may be retained for tax and financial reporting purposes as required by law

  • Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to your account

  • Data required for ongoing legal proceedings or regulatory compliance

Third-Party Account Connections

If your Womi account is connected to third-party services (Google, Facebook, Apple, etc.), deleting your Womi account will not affect those external accounts. You may need to revoke permissions separately through those platforms if desired.

Important Notice
